Indoor Care Instructions

Sun-  Full Sun!  Your Dill herbs needs at least 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day and likes warm temperatures. 

Soil- Plant your Dill herb in a large pot with well drained, rich soil.  

Water-  Keep the Dill herb moist.  It is important for the soil to be able to drain so make sure your pot has holes to drain to remember to empty the saucer. 

Outdoor Care Instructions

Sun-  Direct sun.  Be careful because your Dill herb will freeze in the cold months.

Soil- Rich, well drained soil, plant your Dill herbs 12 to 15 inches apart. 

Water-  Your Dill herb will require a lot of water during the summer months so make sure to keep the soil wet.

-When harvesting your Dill herb make sure the plant has at least four leaves.  Then pinch or cut them off.

-You can also freeze your Dill herbs to use when ready

-Your Dill plant will flower and attract butterflies

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together.

  2. Refrigerate for at least a couple of hours in an airtight carton for flavors to blend. Best if made the day before serving.

  3. Serve in a rye round bread bowl (rip out pieces in the center and place around the edges of the platter for dipping), raw vegetables or chips.
